On their website, the California Association of School Psychologists (CASP) has offered some information/research related to MR in the schools, forwarding the suggestion that maybe we shouldn't be calling students horrible names, like "retarded." Read the information and then take their brief survey to share your views. You can click on the link on the home page to read the info and take the survey. Go to: http://www.casponline.org Although it's maybe too little too late, at least it's a start! You have to start somewhere! Then after disinventing EMR, we can begin to disinvent SLD. |
